We ask before loading the X Pixel for visitors in the European Union, United Kingdom and Norway. Elsewhere, it loads automatically unless you have declined advertising cookies or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control opt-out. If we cannot determine your country, it also loads automatically, subject to the same opt-outs. The pixel measures visits to the homepage and blog, and that a trial started when you confirm your trial on the trial page. This helps us understand which X ads bring people to Poffle and improve those campaigns.

X receives browser and network information, cookie identifiers and the events you trigger. It may associate those events with your X account and use them under its privacy policy. We do not send your email, license key, payment details or anything from your clipboard, recordings or files through the pixel. The trial event says only that a trial started.

We do not load the pixel on license-management pages. On the trial page, it loads only after you confirm your trial, to report the trial start, and follows the same choices and opt-outs as above. Where we ask first, only a choice you made before starting your trial counts.

Your cookie choice

Stored in this browser for 180 days so we remember whether you allowed or declined advertising cookies. This preference is necessary to respect your choice.

X advertising cookies

When advertising measurement is enabled, X may set _twclid on poffle.app for up to 30 days to connect an ad click to a later event. X also uses cookies on its own domains, including muc_ads and personalization_id for up to two years, and its login cookie for up to five years. Browser settings affect which cookies can be used.

Checkout cookie

When you start checkout, a secure cookie links the payment to your browser so only you can retrieve the license on return. It expires after 24 hours and is not used for advertising.

Change your mind anytime

Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to allow or decline X cookies. Declining stops future pixel activity and removes the X ad-click cookie on poffle.app. If the pixel has already loaded, the page reloads to stop it completely.

This does not erase information X already received or cookies on X's own domains. You can also manage advertising choices in your X settings and clear cookies in your browser.

Purchases and licensing

Stripe processes payments. Poffle stores your email, trial dates, agreed total and payment references needed to manage your trial, make the agreed one-time charge and issue or recover your license. Card details are collected and stored by Stripe, not Poffle. You can cancel your trial from your confirmation email or the license management page before the charge date. Cancelling ends trial access immediately and stops the scheduled charge. Your saved content stays available. Trial and license activation use a hashed Mac identifier to enforce the trial period and device limit. These records are separate from advertising measurement.

Cloudflare hosts the website and licensing service and processes the network requests needed to deliver them. We use its country estimate to decide whether to show the consent prompt. This check does not store your country or IP address in Poffle’s licensing database. Contact support@poffle.app with privacy questions or requests about your information.

Meeting notes in Poffle

Meeting recordings, transcripts, speaker labels and generated notes are stored on your Mac. Poffle processes them on-device; it does not upload meeting audio or notes to our servers. Speech and speaker models download when needed. Summaries use Apple’s on-device model and require Apple Intelligence to be available.

Automatic meeting recording is off by default. You can enable it in Settings or choose individual meetings in Agenda. A meeting action is added to Apple Reminders only after you review and save it. If you use an iCloud or other account-backed reminders list, its provider handles synchronization under that account’s settings.

You can remove a meeting recording and its notes together, or remove its audio while keeping the notes. See the meeting notes guide for setup and permissions.
